Call for Members for Y-ILCA
ILCA is looking for members to compose the Young Investigators Steering Committee of ILCA (Y-ILCA).
The main goals of this Committee are to promote young investigators in ILCA, communicate the activities of ILCA to young investigators, build a young investigators active community and participate in the organization of activities for young investigators in ILCA educational activities, including the annual conference. The Y-ILCA will work with Prof Laura M Kulik, MD (Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, US), member of the ILCA Governing Board, and with the support of the ILCA office in order to promote young investigators in ILCA.
This call will close the 31 May 2021. The following criteria is required to apply:
- Men and women below 40 years old (in case of maternity/paternity leave, the eligibility age is calculated by deducting 12 months per child from the applicant’s actual age)
- Be an active ILCA member
- Track record of involvement in clinical care or basic/translational/clinical research or educational activities on primary liver cancer

In keeping with the ethos of ILCA, the aim will be to appoint a committee that is diverse in terms of geography and area of specialization. The ILCA Executive Committee will select the final candidates and the term for these members will be 3 years (2021 – 2024).

ILCA supports research in all liver cancer related disciplines by encouraging young scientists to develop their career in liver cancer research.
Young investigators are truly part of the ILCA Community and ILCA is committed to providing them with continuing learning opportunities through various professional development programmes and activities.
