Cooperation Between Myc And Β-catenin In Liver Tumorigenesis Requires Yap
Hepatology, 2020 Jan 22 [Online ahead of print]
In this study, the cooperation between MYC and beta-catenin oncogenes in liver tumorigenesis is unveiled. MYC and beta-catenin cooperate in inducing liver tumors, an effect that is mediated by Yap and Taz and suggesting that targeting Yap and Taz pathways could be an attractive therapeutic strategy for liver tumors overexpressing MYC and presenting beta-catenin activation.
