As a global no-profit organisation, ILCA is committed to improving outcomes for patients with liver cancer across the world through research, education, and collaboration.

The invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation has brought heart-breaking loss of life and unimaginable suffering to the people of Ukraine. It is having a catastrophic impact on those with liver cancer who are now denied treatment, as well as those that care for them.

As a medical society focused on health and human life, the ILCA Governing Board condemns acts of violence or war and hopes for a quick and peaceful resolution to this conflict and humanitarian crisis. We also believe in international solidarity to care for patients suffering from liver cancer and their families.
